Dissapearing Text 

When ever I use my Sprint TP with the QWERTY keyboard slid out the text from my contacts, calendar, tasks etc disappears, that is until I slide the keyboard closed and the screen reorients itself back to portrait mode.  Is there anyone else experiencing this?  Or anyone who can help?
